What is UV ink?

Many printing applications such as solvent printers require heat to cure the print. With UV inks, ultra-violet rays are used for the curing process.

This new technology provides for a faster cure time and a more environment-friendly process. True 100% UV inks does not contain harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) usually released during curing of solvent inks. Furthermore, with UV inks, prints last longer and are able to adhere directly to different surfaces.
